MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES:·

Organizing and controlling the Testing process·

Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality product and services·

Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project·

Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery·

Deploying and managing resources for testing·

Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product·

Ensure Test sufficiency, Test effectiveness, Test efficiency and Product quality·

Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given project·

Approving process documentation including Test Scripts and Test Plans·

Ensuring that all bugs are reported on TFS and following-up towards its closure·

Ensuring the quality & performance of the system·

Analyzing bug reports and defect metrics·

Facilitating development in products·

Supporting QC team for verification of effectiveness of CAR·

Identifying training requirements of team and communicating with HR for training plan·

Evaluating and improving team productivity·

Supporting design and development teams for trial setups and demonstrations·

Assisting Sales & Marketing team for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and demonstrations·

Update oneself with latest trends in testing

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:·

BE/MSC/BCA/MCA/BSC or Equivalent qualification

Experience:·

7 to 10 years of experience similar role

Skills:·

An understanding of the software testing as well as the business approach for the product·

Automation testing·

Analytical skills·

Decision making ability·

Good team & time-management skills·

Good interpersonal and communication skills·

Excellent knowledge in testing skills (writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)·

Good knowledge of SQL/database, Queries, Store Procedures, C# .Net·

Understanding of communication protocols like Serial, TCP/IP etc.·

Knowledge about hardware like camera, printer, scanners etc.·

Understand the uses and methods of testing·

Knowledge of Testing Framework·
