We specialize in sourcing high-quality marine automation, industrial automation, PLCs, processors, instrumentation, and heavy electrical.We're rapidly expanding our procurement team to unlock massive untapped market potential and scales our operations significantly.The Opportunity:Join our newly formed Mumbai procurement team and work with a diverse range of marine and industrial automation products. You'll be sourcing from new markets, overseas suppliers, stockists, and directly from industrial and marine automation companies - giving you exposure to strategic procurement across multiple channels and geographies.What makes this role exciting:Global Exposure : 85% of our business is international (UK, US, Canada, Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, Italy, Germany)Unique Products : Work with specialized marine automation, industrial controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and heavy electricalsHigh Growth : Rapidly scaling company with massive career growth opportunityImpact : Help convert 160+ daily unfulfilled customer queries into salesLearning : Exposure to new market development, overseas procurement, and international sourcingKey Responsibilities:Procurement Operations (60%)Handle daily procurement requisitions from sales team for unavailable inventory itemsSource marine and industrial automation products from multiple channels:New market vendors and suppliers (domestic and international)Overseas manufacturers and authorized distributorsStockists and dealers of marine/industrial automation equipmentDirect procurement from industrial and marine automation companiesOEM/brand principals and their authorized channelsGenerate RFQs based on customer specifications and technical requirementsValidate product specifications, compatibility, and quality parametersObtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers across different geographiesNegotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedulesProcess Purchase Orders and track order fulfillmentCoordinate international shipments and import documentation when requiredVendor Management (25%)Identify and onboard new vendors/suppliers across different sourcing channelsDevelop new market sources -
