Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients of AVF Creative Brand Consultancy Pvt Ltd. The KAM will work closely with the leadership team and other departments to ensure the needs and goals of key accounts are met, driving growth and profitability. This role is critical in ensuring client satisfaction, enhancing service delivery, and maximizing revenue opportunities from key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management :
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring consistent communication and support.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring a high level of client retention.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth :
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, leveraging the relationship to upsell and cross-sell services.
  • Regularly review and refine account strategies in collaboration with the sales and business development teams.
  • Client Relationship Building :
  • Establish and foster partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify any potential issues or opportunities.
  • Ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded through proactive communication and service delivery.
  • Service Delivery & Project Management :
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., creative, marketing, operations) to ensure that client projects are executed effectively and in line with agreed-upon expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, address client feedback, and manage issues to ensure a high standard of service.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables and solutions.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management :
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with key clients, ensuring both the client’s and company’s interests are met.
  • Manage and renew client contracts, ensuring terms are aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and performance metrics.
  • Revenue & Profitability Management :
  • Track and monitor key account performance, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including revenue projections and financial performance.
  • Manage account budgets, controlling costs while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork :
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and support.
  • Share client insights and feedback with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in service offerings.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and convert new business opportunities from existing accounts.
  • Client Issue Resolution :
  • Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Address any complaints or service issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain open lines of communication to ensure clients feel valued and supported.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or sales, with at least 3 years managing key accounts.
  • Skills :
  • Strong understanding of business, client relationship management, and sales principles.
  • Proven experience in managing key accounts and growing client relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to drive profitability.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
