We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draughtsman to join our interior design team. The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, detailed layouts, and working drawings to support the design and execution of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The role requires close collaboration with interior designers, architects, and site teams to ensure precision and quality in project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings, working drawings, joinery details, furniture layouts, false ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and flooring plans.
  • Translate conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings.
  • Ensure drawings comply with design specifications, industry standards, and building codes.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and site engineers to coordinate technical details.
  • Revise and update drawings as per client or site requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
  • Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and measurement sheets when required.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, as-built drawings, and verification.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Required Skill Set

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) mandatory.
  • Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of interior design drawings furniture, joinery, partitions, false ceiling, MEP integration, etc.
  • Ability to prepare working drawings, detail drawings, and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior construction methods.
  • Basic understanding of measurement and quantity take-offs.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to revisions.
