Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will manage the financial health of the organization by developing
strategies based on financial analysis, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance
with financial regulations. This role involves managing the finance team, preparing reports,
budgeting, forecasting, and advising senior management on financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
o Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements,
balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
o Analyze financial data and create reports to identify areas for improvement.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
o Provide variance analysis and recommendations based on actual vs. budget
performance.
o Collaborate with department heads to prepare and revise budgets.
3. Financial Planning and Analysis:
o Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic planning.
o Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry conditions to inform financial
decisions.
o Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
4. Cash Flow Management:
o Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
o Oversee the company's cash management, including banking relations and
liquidity planning.
o Optimize cash flow by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal controls.
o Prepare for and manage audits, both internal and external.
o Identify and mitigate financial risks.
6. Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
o Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct performance reviews.
o Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
7. Strategic Financial Management:
o Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies.
o Support mergers, acquisitions, and other business development activities.
o Provide financial leadership in key decision-making processes.
8. Cost Control:
o Monitor and control operational expenses.
o Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service.
o Track and analyze financial performance metrics.
Qualifications:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a
related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is
preferred.
 Experience : Minimum of 08 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least
03 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
o Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial
reporting.
o Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
o Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
