Medikabazaar is India's largest B2B healthtech platform for medical equipment and supplies. We aim to transform the healthcare supply chain by leveraging technology and innovative thinking.
We recently raised $75MM in a Series C investment led by Creaegis along with CDC group. Some of our other investors are Belgium based Ackermans & van Haaren (AvH), HealthQuad Advisors, Japan-based Rebright Partners, Kois Holdings and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group.
About the role and responsibilities
- Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice during and outside of meetings.
- Report to the CFO/CEO and often liaise with board members.
- Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.
- Ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes that might affect the organization are up to date and approved by the committee/board.
- Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries
- Secretarial & Legal Matters, Accounting and costing along with Taxation matters.
- Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders.
- Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.
Desired Skills and Functional Experience:
- Education qualification - CA and CS
- Good to have : 10+ years of work experience with Pharma, Healthcare, E-commerce, listed company.
- Experience working with the pharma industry would be a big plus.
