Job Description: Retention Marketing Lead / Email Marketing Strategist

Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Retention Marketing Lead / Email Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monetizing our existing database of over a million users through strategic re-engagement and optimization of their user journey. The focus will be on developing and implementing effective communication strategies, nurturing campaigns, and segmentation tactics to achieve retention objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of big data, email marketing best practices, and a proven track record in reducing customer drops.


Key Responsibilities:


Big Data Management:

  • Demonstrate expertise in handling large volumes of data to derive actionable insights.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to segment the user database effectively.

Communication Strategy & Nurturing:

  • Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored for various audiences and segments.
  • Develop and execute nurturing campaigns to engage and retain users.

Segmentation :

  • Utilize segmentation techniques to create targeted and personalized communication for different user segments.
  • Continuously refine segmentation strategies based on user behavior and feedback.

Ed-Tech Experience:

  • Preferred experience in the education technology sector, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in the industry.

Reducing Drops:

  • Analyze user journey data to identify pain points and implement strategies to reduce customer drops.
  • Optimize user experience to enhance retention rates.

Revenue/Objective Orientation:

  • Align retention strategies with revenue and business objectives.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the success of retention efforts.

Email Marketing Best Practices:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices.
  • Understand mail performance, user behavior, and responses to different email strategies.

Large Data Volume Handling:

  • Plan and execute parallel email strategies, ensuring minimal overlap and maximum effectiveness.
  • Optimize email campaigns based on performance metrics and user feedback.


Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Retention Marketing Lead or Email Marketing Strategist.
  • Strong background in big data management and segmentation.
  • Previous experience in the education technology sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in reducing customer drops and increasing retention rates.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving retention and revenue targets.
