Our Client is strengthening their R&D leadership to drive new product development in coating technologies, focusing on emulsions, additives, and next-gen application systems. Job Description Reporting to the Executive Leadership, you will: Lead the R&D function for coating technologies, including development of emulsions, dispersing agents, and thickeners Oversee end-to-end formulation, testing, and application development for new coating products Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Production, and QA to bring innovations from lab to market Evaluate and qualify raw materials, suppliers, and sourcing alternatives for quality and cost optimization Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards including REACH, RoHS, and VOC norms Support customer trials, field application, and commercial product launches through technical engagement Manage budgets, project timelines, and team development, ensuring timely and successful product delivery The Successful Applicant Holds a in Chemistry with a specialization in polymers, coatings, or materials science Brings 15+ years of experience in R&D within the coatings or specialty chemicals sector Has deep knowledge of emulsion polymerization, additives, and coating system behavior Is well-versed in ASTM, ISO standards, and testing protocols for paint and coatings performance Demonstrates strong project management, innovation mindset, and cross-functional leadership capabilities Experience with customer-centric product development and scaling from lab to plant is highly preferred
