We are looking for a manager or senior manager in field collections with 6–8 years of total experience and 3–4 years of Team management experience in Collections. The ideal candidate should have managed more than 3 vendors for at least 2 years.
Preferred Industry: Debt Collections (Banks/NBFCs)
What you'll be doing:
Identify new markets and evaluate expansion based on sales growth.
Collaborate with clients and bankers across locations.
Develop channel partners for effective field operations.
Review payouts and ensure productivity is within budget.
Stay updated on industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
Implement portfolio treatments to maximize performance.
Plan and allocate headcount based on productivity metrics.
Lead and mentor agency managers for field collections.
Ensure headcount planning based on portfolio size and market growth.
Develop and upskill talent, and plan for retention and succession.
Create a talent pool for effective hiring.
Drive team engagement and bonding activities.
Regularly review performance with vendors and area managers.
Communicate targets promptly across teams and vendors.
Set SMART goals and provide regular feedback.
Ensure compliance with business policies, collection procedures, and audit requirements.
Monitor compliance and audit adherence at vendor locations.
What we’re looking for:
Should possess strong execution skills along with ability to identify root causes of problems, generate and evaluate alternative solutions, and implement problem resolutions quickly and effectively with fact-based decisions
Strong team management and vendor management skills.
Forecasting skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork and collaboration
Excellent listening, problem solving, analytical skills and Conflict management skills
Post-graduate / graduate degree or equivalent educational qualifications.
Has good understanding of Collection Processes
