Join our growing team at SHI LOCUZ as a Storage & Backup Engineer and play a key role in safeguarding critical business data across complex hybrid environments.Role Overview:As a Storage & Backup Engineer, you'll design, implement, and manage enterprise-level storage and backup systems. You'll ensure data availability, integrity, and performance across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain storage and backup solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage).Manage enterprise backup technologies (e.g., Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault).Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability.Automate routine tasks using scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).Perform data recovery testing and maintain disaster recovery plans.Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on storage strategies.Ensure compliance with data retention and backup policies.Requirements:3–5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.Strong knowledge of storage systems (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage).Proficient in backup platforms like Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik.Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows/Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Scripting experience for automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefitsHybrid or remote work flexibilityCareer development and certification supportA collaborative and inclusive cultureApply Now:If you're ready to build resilient storage and backup solutions at scale, we want to hear from you
