Position Summary:


The role of a Deputy General Manager in Business Development typically involves overseeing and guiding the growth and expansion strategies for the wood working range of water-based Adhesives D2, D3 and Membrane Adhesives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategy Development : Create and implement business development strategies for the newly developed range of: Specialty Adhesives for the Wood Working Range of Water Base Adhesive comprises of D2, D3 & Membrane Adhesives.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Partnerships and Networking : Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Project Management : Oversee and manage business development projects from inception to completion.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead generation, and sales strategies.
  • Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the business development team, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
  • Financial Oversight : Monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and ROI for business development activities.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present reports on business development activities, performance, and progress to senior management.


Preferred Experience & Qualification:


  • BSC /BTech Chemical Engineering.
  • 12 to 15 years of experience in business development of wood working range of water-based Adhesives D2, D3 and Membrane Adhesives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating contracts and deals with clients and partners.
  • Leadership and Management: Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and driving performance.
