Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Deputy General Manager of Finance to lead and manage our financial operations in the automotive sector. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and compliance within the automotive industry. As DGM of Finance, you will drive financial performance, optimize resources, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Analyze financial data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
  • Lead financial audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives to uphold the integrity of financial practices.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and other departments to develop cost-effective strategies and improve profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
  • Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and ERP software (such as SAP or Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in India.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and lead a team.
