Role Overview

Whispering Woods Resort is seeking a
highly responsible, hands-on, and proactive Operations Manager
to oversee the day-to-day functioning of our boutique property. This leadership role requires strong operational expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly coordinate across multiple departments, including
rooms, restaurant, housekeeping, front office, and guest services
.

The Operations Manager will be accountable for ensuring high service standards, maintaining compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, and creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and experienced in handling
end-to-end resort operations

Key Responsibilities

Resort Operations Management

• Supervise and direct daily operations across
rooms, restaurant, housekeeping, front office, and guest services
.

• Ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination to deliver
consistent and seamless guest experiences
.

• Monitor staff performance, daily workflows, and adherence to operational SOPs.

• Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality benchmarks.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Act as the
primary escalation point
for guest concerns and service issues.

• Guarantee guest satisfaction by providing
personalized service and swift issue resolution
.

• Regularly analyze guest feedback, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.

• Drive initiatives that enhance overall guest delight and loyalty.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, guide, and inspire staff across multiple departments, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.

• Conduct regular
briefings and department alignment meetings
to synchronize daily operations.

• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure service consistency.

• Evaluate team performance and implement improvement plans as needed.

Property & Resource Management

• Oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of all resort facilities and amenities.

• Manage inventory levels, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.

• Ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality or guest experience.

• Maintain service readiness across the property at all times.

Strategic & Daily Operations

• Collaborate with management to
design and implement operational strategies, policies, and SOPs
.

• Conduct daily operational checks, audits, and inspections, submitting timely reports to the General Manager.

• Introduce and apply
best practices for operational efficiency
, profitability, and service enhancement.

• Actively contribute to long-term planning, positioning Whispering Woods as a preferred resort destination.

Requirements

• Proven experience in
resort or hospitality operations management
.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in
English, Hindi, and Marathi
.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and resolve operational challenges effectively.

• Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and dynamic hospitality schedules.
