We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Analyst – Calculation Compliance

Principal responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing the readiness of calculation logic documentation for Calculation Compliance Assessment for less complex NMCs.Engage with NMC Owners and Report Makers as required. Prepare detailed test scripts in line with test scenarios provided by the Assessor.Includes agreement of any NMC SME resources required to support testing, Perform test execution and prepare comprehensive test status reports, including test progress, defect and issue logs, action log for discussion at appropriate governance forums and inclusion in Calculation Compliance Assessment. Documenting evidence in support of key findings in formal Assessment Reports for both calculation logic documentation and calculation compliance testing. Deliver on assigned activities to enable effective and timely assessment and the mitigation of risk including delivery to plan and raising progress blockers on a timely basis. Provide written reports and verbal summaries or explanations of work undertaken to relevant stakeholders. Work closely with multiple change teams and business functions, such as Regulatory Reporting. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the business-as-usual operating model, proactively working towards enhancing existing artefacts, procedures, assessments and methods of stakeholder engagement. Requirements

Requirements

Expertise in SQL with ability to interpret calculation logic, prepare test scripts and explain findings in a non-technical manner. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience delivering test planning, management and execution. Ability to clearly articulate findings that requires explanation of calculation logic. Working knowledge of testing tools (such as ALM Confluence, Jira) for the management of testing cycles and relevant documentation. The role holder should be able to understand the end-to-end process and calculation logic within the NMC for assessment. Be able to thrive in a dynamic, expanding team to deliver on concurrent deliverables and share knowledge. Experience in an Analytical, Controls or Regulatory Reporting function within a large financial services organisation.
