Job Overview:

As a Digital Marketing Trainee at Softcell, you will play a critical role in supporting our marketing efforts to expand our reach to new customers and deepen our engagement with existing customer contacts within our three key business units: Systems Integration, Mobility, and Engineering Services. This training offers hands-on experience in executing targeted digital marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, customer database management, and data-driven marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and websites, aimed at attracting and engaging new customers and existing contacts within our target accounts.- Targeted Campaigns: Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns designed to reach new customers and engage current contacts, including email marketing, social media advertising, and targeted online ads.- Social Media Management: Help manage and grow Softcell’s presence on social media platforms, focusing on attracting new followers and engaging existing ones.- Email Marketing: Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns targeted at both prospective customers and existing contacts within our accounts, tracking metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.- Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in reaching new customer segments and engaging current customer contacts.- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to inform and refine marketing strategies aimed at expanding our customer base.- Customer Database Creation and Management: Help in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive customer database. Ensure that customer information is up-to-date, segmented appropriately, and leveraged effectively in marketing campaigns.- Collaborative Projects: Work closely with sales and business development teams to support initiatives that drive customer acquisition and engagement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Customer Reach: Track and report on the increase in new customer engagements and contacts reached through digital marketing efforts.- Campaign Effectiveness: Measure the success of campaigns in terms of lead generation, conversion rates, and engagement with new and existing customer contacts.- Social Media Growth: Monitor the growth of followers and engagement on social media platforms, particularly among target customer segments.- Email Marketing Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of email campaigns in driving engagement with new and existing customer contacts.- Customer Database Quality: Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date customer database that enhances the effectiveness of targeted marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.- Digital Marketing Skills: Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including content marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.- Creativity: Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content for different platforms and audiences.- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms. Experience with CRM systems or customer database management is a plus.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.- Passion for Technology: A genuine interest in technology and digital transformation, particularly in the fields of Systems Integration, Mobility, and Engineering Services.- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
