Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches and calculations for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services for a diverse range of construction projects, encompassing architectural design, civil engineering elements, interior fit-out and landscape works. The candidate will be required to setup, manage and coordinate models, drawings with other disciplines and work closely with the design team.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture, interior and landscape design schemes.

·        Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.

·        Proficiency in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support to the project team

·        Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines

·        Follow established BIM execution plans and adhere to project specific documentation. Ensure models follow established standards and goals in the BIM execution plan

·        Create discipline specific BIM system families for projects

·        Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity take-offs.

·        Ensure in development of coordinated and clash-free models in coordination with the design team.

·        Ensure all models comply with project design intent, relevant building codes, standards and project specifications.

·        Maintain and organize Revit project files, libraries, and standards.

·        Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.

·        Stay updated on the latest Revit software updates, industry trends, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

·        Diploma in MEP Engineering Design

·        Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit Modeller with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in modelling MEP services in architectural and interior fit-out projects.

·        Ability to take lead in resolving issues and challenges.

·        Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.

·        Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and building materials.

·        Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.

·        Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP drawings.

·        Strong attention to accuracy and details.

·        Good communication and collaboration skills.

·        Ability to work with  multi-disciplinary team.
