Key Responsibilities:

  1. BIM Modeling of MEP Systems

    Create accurate 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire systems using Revit and other modeling tools.

  2. Drawing Production

    Prepare coordinated MEP drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in compliance with project and client standards.

  3. Clash Detection and Coordination

    Participate in clash detection processes using Navisworks and resolve issues through coordination with design and site teams.

  4. Model Updates and Revisions

    Update BIM models based on design changes, RFI responses, and mark-ups received from engineers or site.

  5. Collaboration with Project Teams

    Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and consistency.

  6. BIM Standards Compliance

    Ensure all modeling and documentation follow project BIM execution plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and industry best practices.

  7. Quantity Take-offs and Scheduling

    Extract quantities and create schedules from BIM models for estimation and procurement support.

  8. Data Management and Documentation

    Manage and maintain BIM models, files, and documentation in the Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  9. Technical Review and QA/QC

    Conduct self-check and peer reviews of models and drawings to maintain high-quality deliverables.

  10. Continual Learning and Support

    Stay updated with the latest BIM tools, plugins, and industry trends; support junior modelers when necessary.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination.
  • Attention to detail, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
