About the role

As an Automation Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various automation solutions connecting different systems and applications to improve the efficiency and productivity of business processes. You will work on challenging integration projects using tools like Jitterbit, Automation Anywhere, eBonding (Fusion’s flagship product) and other relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze and document existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation.Design and develop custom automation solutions using various tools and technologies.Ensure data flows efficiently between systems, automating processes and reducing manual interventions.Utilize integration tools like Jitterbit, Automation Anywhere, eBonding or similar platforms to build and maintain integration workflows and APIs.Develop custom code or scripts as needed for complex integration scenarios.Implement and test automation solutions and provide training to users.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.Monitor and maintain automation solutions to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.Work with clients to identify new automation opportunities and continuously improve existing solutions.Guide Juniors and help the Sales team to present Demos and Proof of Concepts.

Experience

4-6 years of experience working with Automation or Integration technologies.

Knowledge

Expert knowledge of at least one automation technology like BMC TrueSight Orchestration, Ansible, MuleSoft, and Automation Anywhere and sound knowledge of automation concepts, APIs, Web Services, Connectors, etc.Expertise in XML, JSON, REST, SOAPGood knowledge of JavaScriptKnowledge of Authentication Methods for APIs

Skills

Experience with on-prem and cloud-based automation platforms like Jitterbit, BMC Truesight Orchestration, Ansible, MuleSoft, and Automation Anywhere.Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.Experience with developing complex integrationsExperience with security best practices for automation solutions.Confident to lead the development and guide juniors.BMC Helix ITSM Knowledge will be preferable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to interact and communicate with customers to drive client value.A proven ability to develop positive working relationships in a distributed team and to create effective collaboration with direct and extended team members.Accountable for meeting project deliverable deadlines and taking ownership of the work.Proven ability to work in a pressurised development and customer environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
