Job Summary:

The MIS Executive will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting data related to sales, inventory, and operations across the sweets retail chain. This role is critical for enabling informed decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1.
Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports for sales, stock levels, wastage, and returns.
  • Generate branch-wise, product-wise, and category-wise performance reports.

2.
Inventory & Stock Monitoring

  • Track inventory movement and stock levels in real-time across all outlets and warehouses.
  • Highlight fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items to the procurement team.
  • Coordinate with the store managers for stock reconciliations and discrepancies.

3.
Sales Analysis

  • Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demand patterns.
  • Provide insights to support marketing campaigns, new product launches, and discounts/offers.
  • Monitor daily sales vs targets and flag variances.

4.
System & Database Maintenance

  • Ensure smooth functioning of the POS and ERP systems used in retail outlets.
  • Manage master data, including product codes, pricing, and vendor details.
  • Maintain data integrity and conduct periodic data audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in MIS or data analysis (experience in FMCG/Retail/Sweets industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.), Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.) and POS software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience working in a multi-outlet retail or sweets/confectionery business.
  • Ability to handle pressure and deliver accurate reports within tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, organized, and self-driven.
