As an Oracle DatabaseEngineer you will play a crucial role in designing developingimplementing and maintaining our Oracle database systems to ensureoptimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities :
Manage and maintain Oracledatabase systems including installation configuration andperformance tuning.
Design andimplement database structures schemas and data models to supportbusiness requirements.
Developand optimize SQL queries stored procedures and triggers forefficient data retrieval andmanipulation.
Implement andenforce database security measures including user authenticationauthorization and data encryption.
Monitor database performance andcapacity utilization proactively identifying and resolving issuesto minimize downtime.
Plan andexecute database backups restores and disaster recovery proceduresto ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to troubleshoot applicationrelated database issues andoptimize system performance.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and bestpractices recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
Document database configurationsprocedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing andtraining purposes.
Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the databaseteam.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Information Technology or a related field.
58 years of handson experiencein Oracle database administration and development.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQLprogramming languages. Solid understanding of Oracle databasearchitecture including RDBMS concepts and features.
Skill Required: 3+ years of Experience with education in B.Tech/B.Eor M.Tech/M.E(ECE) or any other relevant degree. Strong programmingexperience in C/C++ in embedded domain. Strong debugging andproblem-solving skills. Experience with common embeddedprotocols/interfaces like I2C, SPI, USART, buses, bridge chips,FPGAs, hardware queues/FIFOs, interrupts, DMA, Experience in multicore, multi thread, IPC, system programming, GDB, kernel/user spaceinterfaces in Linux OS Ability to work up and down the embeddedstack: boot loader, device drivers, kernel, user space. Experiencein using source control, bug tracking and other relevant tools.Well versed with software development process. Good to have abilityto read schematics, understand device datasheets use lab tools like- JTAG, oscilloscopes, power sources, multi-meters, etc experiencein SDK/tool chain setup, make files, scripting
