Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant with expertise in Digital Engineering and Legacy Modernization to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by delivering compelling presentations, crafting tailored solutions, and addressing client requirements related to digital transformation and modernization of legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Client Engagement :
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospective clients, understanding their business needs and technical requirements.
- Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to gather detailed requirements and assess clients' current digital engineering and legacy systems.
2. Solution Design :
- Develop and propose customized solutions that address clients' challenges and goals related to digital engineering and legacy modernization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and architect solutions that leverage the latest technologies and best practices.
3. Presentation and Demonstration :
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to showcase the value of our offerings.
- Clearly articulate the benefits, features, and competitive advantages of our digital engineering and modernization solutions.
4. Proposal Development :
- Lead the creation of detailed proposals and statements of work (SOWs) that outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs.
- Ensure that proposals align with client requirements and expectations, and address any technical concerns or questions.
5. Market and Technology Insight:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in digital engineering and legacy modernization.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on industry best practices and technological advancements.
6. Collaboration :
- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and identify potential opportunities.
- Engage with engineering and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from presales to implementation.
7. Customer Relationships :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their long-term goals and positioning our solutions as a strategic partner in their digital journey.
- Address any concerns or objections during the sales cycle, providing expert guidance and support.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience ( 5-8 years) in a presales or technical consulting role, with a focus on digital engineering, legacy modernization, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation strategies, software engineering practices, cloud computing, and legacy system modernization techniques.
- Experience with various technologies, frameworks, and tools used in digital engineering and modernization (e.g., cloud platforms- Azure preferred, microservices, API integration, containerization, Microsoft Power Platform, M365 frameworks).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
