Our Service: headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support. On offer: Based across headspace Geelong, Corio and occasionally Armstrong Creek Permanent, full-time opportunity available Extended hours required on Thursdays, 10:30am to 7:00pm Paying on HPSS SSE Award Level 8 plus Super Salary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free) Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650 Leave loading at 17.5% Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness) One paid wellbeing leave day per year Purchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time) Paid parental leave support Supportive team environment Excellent training and career development Role overview: Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff. Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day. Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team Requirements: Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds Experience working with Best Practice preferred Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills Well-developed customer service skills Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people. Proficient Microsoft Office skills Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality Must have good availability Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance A current unencumbered driver's license Stride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
