Key Responsibilities:

Custody Operations: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Custody Operations team, ensuring efficient and compliant operations. Assist team in day to day operations. Automation Projects: Drive and oversee automation initiatives within Custody Operations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes. Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the client service teams to understand client requirements, provide solutions, and ensure client satisfaction. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with bankers, regulators, vendors, and other external partners to ensure compliance and smooth operations. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes in the custody operations space in India and ensure full compliance. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets and maintain a secure custody environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. 15+ years of experience in Custody Operations within the financial services industry, preferably in India. Strong understanding of Indian regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Proven experience in successfully leading and managing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. An innovative mindset with a strong interest in automation and technology.
