Job Title: Project Manager with Presales and Program Management Experience

Location: Chennai, India

Experience: 7 Years

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with presales and program management experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of proven experience in managing complex projects and supporting presales activities. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a successful track record in both project delivery and presales engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes.

Presales Activities:

  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to showcase company capabilities.
  • Conduct technical and business requirement analysis to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Develop and present project plans, timelines, and cost estimates to potential clients.
  • Support the preparation of RFP/RFI responses and other presales documentation.

Program Management:

  • Oversee multiple projects within a program, ensuring strategic alignment and coherence.
  • Coordinate program activities and dependencies, managing risks and resolving issues at the program level.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to project managers within the program.
  • Ensure program objectives are met within the stipulated timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Report program status, progress, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management with significant exposure to presales activities.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record in developing and presenting project proposals and solutions to clients.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) or related fields.
  • Experience working with Fortune 50 clients or large-scale enterprises.
  • Familiarity with digital-driven strategies and automation solutions.
  • Advanced certifications such as PgMP (Program Management Professional) or Agile certifications.
