Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the organization. This role involves conducting audits, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Role & responsibilities

  • Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and risks.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CIA preferred).
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
