For more information on what we do, who we are, and career opportunities, visit Requirements ·Oracle DBA is responsible to Install, patch, administer, setup, troubleshoot and monitor the Oracle databases optimal performance and support users/Application related requests, assure the database data is consistent, proper backups generated and that DR is configured to enable client RTO (recovery time objective) is in compliance. Responsibilities Linux OS Kernel DB parameters setup to enable proper DB operation. Crontab jobs configuration to allow DB maintenance tasks and backups execution. Oracle Installs, upgrades, patching and migrations. ASM and RAC Installs, upgrades, patching and migrations. Database troubleshooting and workarounds implementation Database backup configuration, scheduling and troubleshooting. Database Performance and tuning + critical queries tuning Database Change Management control thru client ITSM tool DB Vendor support Support to DB projects On-Call support Shell/batch script Required Languages  English Developing advanced 85-90 % Possible Job location(s) Bangalore, India.
