Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities :
- Provide expert technical support for Maximo applications, addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects.
- Develop and maintain custom Maximo applications using Java and MBOs, including bean classes, field level classes, custom actions, user exits, and processing classes.
- Create and manage automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with database administrators to optimize Maximo performance, focusing on Oracle SQL tuning and query optimization.
- Utilize tools like GitHub and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration to manage code changes and ensure code quality.
- Integrate Maximo with other systems using APIs and custom integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Maximo applications and integrations.
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for custom applications and processes.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 5-8 years of experience in Maximo technical support or development.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and customization within the Maximo environment.
- In-depth knowledge of MBOs, bean classes, field level classes, custom actions, user exits, and processing classes.
- Experience with automation scripting for Maximo applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
