With a robust international presence, TUF Group operates offices and manufacturing facilities in India (Delhi, Kolkata, Vizag), UAE (Dubai) and Germany (Dusseldorf) and is poised for further expansion.Position: Head of Operations - Cored Wire DivisionLocation: Delhi / Kolkata along with visiting and managing operations of Dubai based production facility.Qualifications:Education: Metallurgical or Mechanical or Electrical Engineer holding an Engineering degree or diploma.Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Metallurgical Cored Wire Production or application. Exposure to similar metallurgical products / consumables in the steel industry can also apply.Preferred Experience:Industry Knowledge: Exposure to usage of raw materials pertinent to the steel industry, such as:Calcium MetalSilico CalciumFerro TitaniumFerro BoronSulphurCarbon & Graphite ProductsLeadFerro Silico MagnesiumInoculantsother ferro alloysKey Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations and activities of the cored wire plants in India & abroad.Work on the market development within India and overseas.Ensure order booking and production targets are met to meet capacity utilisation while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Coordinate and manage the inventory of raw materials.Implement and monitor production schedules.Monitor and Maintain compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the production process and reduce production / operational costs.Provide technical guidance and support to the marketing and production team.Monitor and ensure periodic maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues, emphasising preventive maintenance.Work on expansion of existing production units in Kolkata and Dubai and also replicating facilities at new locations.Selected person shall be responsible to run Cored Wire Division as an independent profit centre.Desired Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in handling production equipment related to cored wire manufacturing or tube forming machines will be preferred but not mandatory.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Understanding of steel industry raw materials.Regular Customer visits to build relations and address any production-related quality issues.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Tech-savvy with experience in ERP/SAP platforms and making production-related MIS for regular reporting to management.Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing sector.We are committed to delivering high-quality products and solutions, helping our clients around the world to achieve operational excellence.
