About the role:
Responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis to assess the impact on the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and balance sheet. This includes owning the project from inception to delivery, ensuring that financial objectives are met, and managing smooth handovers to the respective operational teams for continued management and implementation.
Key Responsibilities :
● Financial Analysis and Modelling: Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including long-term planning and capital allocation.
● Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and tracking performance against these targets.
● Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO in formulating and implementing strategic plans, including mergers and acquisitions, market expansion, and new product launches.
● Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the CEO, summarizing financial performance, market trends, and strategic insights.
● Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
● Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s financial stability and sustainability.
● Special Projects: Support and manage special projects as directed by the CEO, involving cross-functional collaboration with various departments.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA Finance from Tier 1 Colleges/CA Ranker.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with proven experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and strategic planning.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software; familiarity with ERP systems and statistical tools is a plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
Initiative: Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
