- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve client’s billing issues.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Run beginning and month end recurring billing and ensure all revenue is recognized.
- Verify invoice installation, technician and event services orders. Correct discrepancies and follow up where required.Qualifications:
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Able to work late evening/early morning shift to coincide with customers’ business hours. North America shift
- Prior experience as an accounts receivable clerk
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (MS Dynamics NAV preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Some post-secondary education in a related field
