Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing to lead and execute the marketing strategy for RC Company and Nutrition in Sync. This will be a remote role. This person will be responsible for all marketing efforts, from strategic planning to execution, with a focus on driving growth, increasing brand awareness, and supporting business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing leader who can guide a team and collaborate with other departments to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for RC Company and Nutrition in Sync, aligned with business growth objectives.
- Oversee all marketing initiatives, including social media, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, CRM, and influencer marketing.
- Work with leadership to align marketing strategies with business development goals, identifying growth opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
2. Social Media Management:
- Own and oversee the social media strategy across all platforms, ensuring engaging and cohesive content.
- Lead the team (including an agency) in creating and scheduling content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Implement a structured content calendar for program launches and campaigns, tracking metrics to optimize engagement and reach. (potentially with agency)
3. Digital Marketing:
- Lead digital marketing efforts, excluding performance marketing (already handled by a separate team), with a focus on SEO, email marketing, and CRM.
- Manage WhatsApp marketing, including the use of WhatsApp Business API for automated messaging, segmentation, and campaign scheduling.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and campaigns.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the marketing team, including direct reports.
- Set clear objectives for the team and provide ongoing guidance, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Regularly review team performance, ensuring targets are met and professional development is supported.
5. Content Creation and Coordination:
- Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality content that aligns with the brand voice and messaging.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including social media, email campaigns, and websites.
- Coordinate podcast outreach and content preparation for key figures, including Rashi’s appearances.
6. Business Development and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business development initiatives, such as partnerships, workshops, and new program launches.
- Proactively identify new growth opportunities and recommend strategies for business expansion.
- Ensure alignment between marketing and business development efforts to drive revenue and brand growth.
7. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
- Provide regular reports to the Managing Director, including data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Continuously optimize strategies based on performance data to improve marketing ROI.
8. Website Management:
- Collaborate with the digital and performance marketing team member to ensure the website is optimised for both user experience and search engines.
- Manage landing page development, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and objectives.
- Coordinate website content updates with the marketing team, ensuring alignment with ongoing campaigns.
9. Sales Coordination and Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop messaging and follow-up strategies that maximize conversions.
- Provide marketing support to enhance sales team efforts, including content creation, emailers, and promotional materials.
10. Market Research:
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Report findings and recommendations for improving competitiveness and market positioning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy within the first 3 months.
- Measurement: Successful execution of the documented plan with clear goals and tactics.
- Social Media Management:
- Increase social media engagement by 30% in 6 months.
- Measurement: Track engagement metrics like likes, comments, and shares.
- Digital Marketing:
- Improve website traffic through SEO by 20% in 6 months.
- Measurement: Google Analytics tracking of organic search traffic.
- Team Leadership:
- Ensure a 90% team satisfaction rate in quarterly surveys.
- Measurement: Conduct and analyze results of team surveys.
- Content Creation and Coordination:
- Produce at least 10 new high-quality content pieces monthly.
- Measurement: Track content production and publication schedules.
- Business Development and Strategy:
- Launch 2 new programs/workshops annually.
- Measurement: Track the launch and success of new initiatives.
- Performance Reporting:
- Provide detailed monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Measurement: Submission of comprehensive reports and implementation of data-driven strategy adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally in the health and wellness or F&B industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing (excluding performance marketing), social media strategy, and CRM.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and optimize marketing efforts.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
