Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the purchase of goods, materials, and services needed by an organization, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Research, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships.
  • Plan and manage the procurement process, including identifying needs, preparing purchase requisitions, and placing purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order placement, monitoring order status, and expediting deliveries.
  • Verify that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate favourable prices and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • SAP (Preferably SAP-SD)
  • Advance Excel
  • Proven experience in procurement and vendor management
