Position Summary:

The Manager/Sr. Manager - Strategy at BIBA Fashions will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to MD, ensuring seamless execution of business priorities across departments. This role involves aligning the leadership team’s efforts with the MD's vision, managing high-stakes projects, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the MD to set business priorities, develop strategic initiatives, and align goals across departments.
  • Lead the implementation of key projects and ensure timely execution, focusing on delivering results that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and prepare reports for the MD on business metrics, project progress, and critical insights.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise between the MD and key internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and fostering collaboration across functions.
  • Act as a representative of the MD in meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and other strategic collaborators, to enhance relationships and drive organizational goals.


Operational Efficiency:

  • Identify and address bottlenecks in business processes, working with department heads to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and track operational plans that support organizational objectives and increase productivity across the board.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement, standardization, and automation, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.


Project Management:

  • Oversee critical projects on behalf of the MD, ensuring cross-functional alignment and adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Utilize project management frameworks to track milestones and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate regular project update meetings, ensuring effective communication and accountability among team members.


Leadership Support and Team Development:

  • Support the MD in managing the leadership team’s development, aligning their work with company objectives, and providing guidance on complex issues.
  • Work closely with the MD to cultivate a high-performance culture, helping to develop and implement leadership development programs.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, empowering teams to achieve their best performance.


Business Analysis and Decision Support:

  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support the MD’s decision-making.
  • Research industry trends, competitive dynamics, and best practices to inform business strategies and opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and documents to support the MD’s strategic initiatives, ensuring quality, accuracy, and clarity.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution is preferred.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or consulting role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally with experience in retail or fashion.
  • Project Management: Proven expertise in managing complex projects with a strong track record of driving initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with experience in business analysis, financial planning, and data interpretation.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and drive collaboration across departments.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to prepare high-quality documents and presentations.
  • Adaptability: Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
