Description : Company Description.Gabriel & Co., a family-owned jewelry design house established in 1989 in New York City, is recognized as a leading name in fine jewelry.Combining passion, integrity, and craftsmanship, the company creates unique and distinctive pieces that celebrate beauty and personal achievements.Utilizing an omni-channel sales approach, Gabriel & Co. distributes its award-winning creations via 550 retailers nationwide and its e-commerce platform.Known for visionary design and cutting-edge technology, the brand has been voted the #1 preferred jewelry brand for six consecutive years.Role Description : We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for user-centric design.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating seamless user journeys across web and mobile platforms and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.Key Responsibilities : - Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for web and mobile applications from concept to final delivery.- Conduct user research, persona creation, and usability testing to inform design decisions.- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency across platforms.- Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides.- Translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.- Stay current with design trends, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).- Work with front-end engineers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.Technical Skills Required : - Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop.- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).- Experience collaborating with front-end development teams using design handoff tools like Zeplin or Figma Inspect.- Understanding of Design Thinking, User-Centered Design (UCD), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Familiarity with prototyping, motion design, and micro-interactions using tools such as Framer, Principle, or After Effects.Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for digital products or SaaS applications.- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-focused design solutions.
