Digital Marketing Generalist

About the Role: 


iKSANA is looking for a talented, passionate, and creative Digital Marketing Generalist to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing a diverse range of marketing activities to promote iKSANA’s online presence and improve our marketing and sales pipeline. The role requires a detail-oriented strategic thinker with strong technical skills or a willingness to learn, and the ability to effectively drive cross-domain marketing activities.  


This role is on-site and based in Dehradun. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Execute a diverse range of marketing activities, including local SEO, backlinking, organic content marketing, Google and Meta Ads, outreach, email marketing, online review and reputation management, affiliate marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, collaborations, photography, and analytics & MIS. 


  • Manage organic content through SEO, Quora, and other organic channels.


  • Develop and collaborate on innovative social media strategies aligned with company objectives and target audience preferences.


  • Conceptualize and produce engaging content, including posts, images, videos, GIFs, and infographics for social media posts.


  • Manage and maintain active presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Google My Business, , Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube), ensuring consistency in brand messaging and image. Ensuring content is curated to suit different channels/platforms.


  • Plan, execute, and optimise social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and support marketing initiatives.


  • Monitor social media metrics and track the performance of campaigns using analytical tools. Provide regular reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.


  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices in digital marketing to continuously innovate and optimize our social media efforts


Desired Qualifications and Skills 


  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or similar internship/ training experience 
  • Ability to manage cross-functional marketing activities 
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team - once clear on the task, able to own and run with it
  • Hands-on experience with Google, , Facebook and Instagram 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience in a start-up environment and/or excitement about working in a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects with small moving parts in a fast-paced environment within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques and willingness to learn new applications and tactics
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google and Meta Ads 
  • Experience with Wix, Canva, and Lightroom 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills (ad copywriting a plus)
  • Passion for innovation and creativity
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed 
  • Passion for fast paced environment
