Alternative Oversight Associate

As an Alternative Oversight Associate within the Product Administration team, you will conduct risk-based oversight controls on Alternative funds' NAVs. You will support new product launches and onboarding projects by implementing new control models. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication.

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct and document risk-based oversight controls on Alternative funds' NAVs.

- Prepare, review, and formalize documentation for the JPMAME Valuation Committee.

- Support new product launches by implementing new control models.

- Assist risk management in identifying the risk profile of Alternative funds.

- Support regulatory reporting for JPMAME Alternative funds.

- Handle queries related to valuation and NAV monitoring controls.

- Liaise with JPM Alternatives business groups and external parties.

- Define and own periodic reviews of valuation and NAV oversight policies.

- Report to the JPMAME Management Committee and fund boards.

- Manage end-to-end implementation of oversight requirements.

- Participate in due diligence and service reviews on fund administration providers.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

- Demonstrate understanding of Alternative Investments valuation methodologies.

- Develop strong relationships within the team and across functions.

- Exhibit strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Show accuracy and attention to detail, working autonomously.

- Display a positive attitude towards compliance and controls.

- Manage external service providers effectively.

- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

- Possess experience with alternative funds, including real estate and private equity.

- Understand Alternative fund structures and operational processes.

- Exhibit knowledge of financial reporting and fund regulatory environment.

- Work in a fund administration, audit, or fund manager oversight role.

- Engage with international environments and diverse teams.

- Adapt to industry practices and developments.

- Collaborate with JPMAME Alternatives Oversight team in Luxembourg.
