Control Manager Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Control Manager to join our team in supporting the Outsourcing and Vendor Management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing outsourcing activities, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, and continuing vendor monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding and experience in compliance, controls, or operational risk. They will also possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with various stakeholder groups at different levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing outsourcing activities, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, and continuing vendor monitoring">
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships">
  • Developing expertise across areas of outsourcing-related oversight, governance, and regulatory deliverables">
  • Negotiating and problem-solving to ensure favorable agreements with vendors">
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and communication">

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:

  • ">
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in compliance, controls, or operational risk">
  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups at different levels">
  • Ability to analyze vendor performance data, market trends, financial information, and negotiate closely with vendors">
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors">
  • Skills in planning, organizing, and managing outsourcing and vendor-related projects">
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships">
  • Understanding of financial principles and budgeting">
  • Ability to align outsourcing and vendor management strategies with organizational goals">
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and systems used in outsourcing and vendor management">
  • Experience in outsourcing, vendor management, procurement, supply chain management, or related fields">
  • Experience in change management and/or project management within an Agile environment">
