Notice Period : Immediate to 60 Days

Job Summary :

We are hiring a highly experienced Application Packaging Engineer Mac Packaging with expertise in macOS application packaging tools such as Packages, JAMF Composer, Suspicious Package Utility, and scripting with Shell.

The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of packaging, from requirement gathering to deployment, using JAMF tools for policy creation, scripting, and configuration management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Create and manage Mac application packages using tools like Packages, JAMF Composer, and Suspicious Package Utility

- Handle Shell scripting for pre- and post-install configuration during package creation

- Manage the complete package lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment

- Develop and maintain JAMF packages, scripts, and policies, and ensure proper scoping

- Work with Keychain certificates, environment variables, and macOS system configurations as needed

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and compatibility across different environments

- Troubleshoot and support package-related issues and perform periodic maintenance and updates

- Ensure compliance with security and IT policies during packaging and deployment

Technical Skills Required :

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Mac application packaging

- Expertise with tools such as Packages, JAMF Composer, Suspicious Package Utility

- Strong experience in Shell scripting for macOS

- Hands-on with JAMF : package/script creation, policy creation, and scoping

- Deep understanding of macOS environment configuration including keychains, environment variables, etc.

- Familiarity with Mac system internals, application installation processes, and enterprise deployment tools

Educational Qualifications :

- B. Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed institution
