Responsibilities :


1. Payment Systems Architecture :


- Design and implement secure and scalable architecture solutions for our payment processing systems.


- Focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and fault tolerance to ensure seamless user experience.


- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in payment technologies and continuously evaluate the technology stack for improvement.


2. Payments Integration Expertise :


- Lead integration efforts with banks, financial institutions, and payment gateways (NPCI UPI, Rupay Card, etc.).


- Ensure seamless integration of various payment instruments into our platforms, adhering to industry standards and regulations.


- Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain robust APIs for smooth data exchange.


3. Technical Leadership & Mentorship :


- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices in software development, architecture, and system design.


- Drive the adoption of innovative solutions and knowledge sharing within the team.


- Participate in technical discussions and provide guidance on complex technical challenges.


4. Strategic Planning & Innovation :


- Develop technical strategies and roadmaps for payment systems, aligning with business goals and industry trends.


- Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance our payment processing capabilities and offer innovative solutions.


- Ensure the architecture is future-proof and adapts to evolving business needs.


5. Problem Solving & Compliance :


- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payment systems, minimizing disruption and ensuring optimal service delivery.


- Design solutions that adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards for financial transactions and data security (PCI DSS, etc.).


6. Collaboration & Communication :


- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality payment systems.


- Possess strong communication skills, effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


- Minimum 8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a technical architect role.


- Proven experience within the FinTech industry with a strong understanding of financial systems and payment processing technologies.


- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure systems.


- Deep knowledge of payment gateways, integrations (NPCI UPI, Rupay Card, etc.), and security best practices.


- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.


- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
