About the role:

We are seeking a payroll professional with a minimum of 1-3 years of work experience. You'll be in charge of all payroll tasks for the India region. This includes managing the end-to-end payroll process for our India employees. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, managing statutory compliance, resolving payroll-related queries, and maintaining payroll records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll management, tax laws, and labor regulations


What you will do:


  • Support in processing end to end payroll for India, including gathering employee attendance, working hours, Overtime and bonus/incentive details and ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations, validation, and report reconciliation.
  • Review and validation of Employment contracts and ensure data accuracy on HRMS.
  • Manage Full & Final Settlements and maintain accurate HR data through local tools.
  • Serve as the point of contact for addressing and resolving employee queries related to payroll, deductions, leave encashment, reimbursements, and other compensation matters.
  • Review and validation of employee reimbursement/ investment proof documentation.
  • Collaborate with the SharedServices and Offboarding team to ensure service delivery meets SLAs.
  • Support all year-end activities such as generating Form 16 for employees and reconciling payroll accounts.
  • Assist employees in tax planning and maintaining proper documentation for Income Tax purposes.
  • Coordinate with external vendors & Tax Consultant for payroll management, tax filing assistance and PF/ESIC compliance related matters.
  • Support in internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll data and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams like Onboarding/off-boarding, Finance, and HR Business Partners.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and dashboards for management.
  • Support internal and external payroll audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.


What you’ll need


  • Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within India.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Holds a graduate/postgraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
