Presales & Solutioning Consultant - IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

As a Pre-sales & Solutioning Consultant, you will be pivotal in advancing our sales efforts by
providing effective Sourcing and Supply Chain Tech solutions to our enterprise prospects. You will work closely with our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to thoroughly understand customer needs and business challenges. Your role will involve evaluating the fit of our product solutions, demonstrating and developing compelling solution propositions that address these needs, and clearly articulating the unique value proposition and quantifiable benefits that offers to customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic Support :
- Be a Subject-matter expert in terms of domain, industry, product and processes.
- Work at the cutting edge of the product, as a liaison with the prospective client universe, industry with competitors and internal functions.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, fairs, forums, etc. to showcase.
Pre-sales Support:
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and contribute to the development of sales tactics
- Engage directly with enterprise clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our SaaS solutions.
- Respond to technical queries and provide detailed information about product capabilities, integration options, and customization possibilities
- Prepare and deliver product technical presentations, and solution proposals tailored to meet customer requirements.
Solution Design and Consulting:
- Engage with Customers to understand their business challenges and objectives
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape solutions that align with customer needs
- Design and document solution architectures, workflows, and integration approaches
- Provide technical guidance and consulting to Sales team and Customers throughout the sales motion
- Value Discovery: Conduct in-depth analyses and workshops to discover and quantify the potential value our solutions can provide to clients, including ROI calculations, cost savings projections, and revenue growth opportunities
- Value Proposition Development: Develop compelling value propositions and business cases that align our solutions with client objectives and decision criteria.
Proof of Concept (PoC) Management:
- Lead and manage the execution of proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and value of our solutions in customer environments
- Define success criteria for PoCs and ensure they are met within agreed timelines
- Gather feedback from customers during PoC phases and iterate on solutions as necessary
Knowledge Sharing:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to our products
- Share insights and best practices with internal teams to enhance overall product knowledge and sales effectiveness
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Sales Target Achievement (Hunting + Farming)
- CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Score) of Pre-Sales
QUALIFICTION and Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supply chain domain experience is a must
- Minimum 2 years of Management/ Technology Consulting experience (client-facing role) is a must
SaaS experience: Desirable
Pre-Sales experience: Desirable
Industry experience - Retail/ Fashion & Lifestyle: Desirable
Edu Qualification - BE/BTech: Must; MBA from Tier 1 institutes: Desirable
