Land Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential land parcels suitable for development projects.
  • Evaluate properties to assess their suitability for development, considering factors such as zoning regulations, environmental impact, and market trends.
  • Conduct financial analysis to determine the feasibility of land acquisition, including cost projections, potential return on investment, and risk assessment.
  • Negotiate with landowners, developers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to secure favorable land acquisition deals.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities, including property inspections, title searches, and environmental assessments.
  • Work closely with legal and financial teams to ensure compliance with regulations and contractual agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government officials, and community members.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting land acquisition and real estate development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, urban planning, business administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-15 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of real estate principles, including zoning laws, land use regulations, and property valuation methods.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing land acquisition deals.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including experience with Excel and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
