Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for setting up and leading a marketing team from scratch, designing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, and ensuring these campaigns resonate with BattleBucks' overall brand positioning. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the gaming industry, a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with BattleBucks’ business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the marketing team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to achieve optimal performance.
Team Building:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing team from the ground up.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.
Campaign Management:
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, influencer, and traditional marketing.
- Ensure campaigns resonate with the overall brand positioning and effectively communicate BattleBucks' value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
User Acquisition and Growth:
- Design and execute user acquisition campaigns to drive growth and increase the player base.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and improve user acquisition metrics.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze marketing performance data and provide actionable insights to improve strategies and tactics.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing expenditures.
Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance BattleBucks’ marketing reach and impact.
- Collaborate with influencers, media partners, and industry stakeholders to amplify marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within the gaming industry.
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, user acquisition, and brand management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
