Manager - App Commerce


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical App Merchandiser & Revenue Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, consumer behaviour, and revenue strategies. This person will be responsible for optimising the presentation and performance of our products across various online channels(App & Web) to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own Revenue generation for ecommerce platforms(App/Web).

- Onboard new brands on the platform and strengthen relationship with existing brands

- Create and manage monthly merchandising calendar

- Manage the online product catalogue, including adding new products, updating product information, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.

- Utilize analytics tools and reports to monitor product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to maximize sales and profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and inventory management, to develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with business objectives.

- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and discounts to drive sales and maintain competitive pricing within the market.

- Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and ensure compliance with SEO best practices to improve organic traffic and search rankings.

- Continuously monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for product assortment expansion and differentiation.

- A/B test product presentation, messaging, and placement to optimize conversion rates and enhance the user experience.

- Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in online merchandising to maintain a competitive edge.

Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.

- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.

- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques is preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
