The Head of Supplier will oversee and manage supplier relationships and performance, optimize supply chain operations, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in sourcing materials. The role involves identifying and mitigating risks, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to align supplier strategies with business goals.What you'll do?- Market Expertise: Utilize industry knowledge to advise suppliers on best practices, trends, and solutions to help them thrive within the supply chain ecosystem. - Relationship Development: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers to facilitate open communication and feedback, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed proactively. - Supplier Advocacy: Act as a voice for suppliers within the organization, conveying their needs and suggestions to the product and development teams for continuous improvement. - Business Development: Identify potential suppliers and establish relationships to promote our SCM platform. - Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to engage suppliers, emphasizing the benefits of joining our platform at no costQualifications- 10+ years of experience in supplier management, business development, or account management, ideally within the supply chain or manufacturing environment. - Proven experience in developing value propositions that resonate with suppliers and demonstrate business benefits, particularly in a supply chain context. - Strong industry expertise with a deep understanding of supplier dynamics, market trends, and supply chain best practices. - Relationship-building skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based connections with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly convey complex value propositions and benefits to suppliers. - Proficiency in data analysis, logistics, and supply chain management software. - Proven leadership capabilities with experience in overseeing supplier performance and ensuring quality standards.
