If applicant is from the Plastic Industry its added advantage.Location:- Mumbai.Budget:- 50LPA.Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-drivenHead of Procurementto lead and transform our procurement function. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing spend, ensuring supply continuity, and driving cost efficiencies across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, and deep experience in sourcing, contract negotiations, and supply chain risk management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implementa comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives Lead and managethe procurement team across categories, regions, or business units Drivecost optimization , supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation across the supply base Establish policies and proceduresto standardize and improve procurement processes Overseestrategic sourcing initiativesfor direct and indirect categories, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met Leadvendor negotiations , long-term contracts, and supplier performance management Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, finance, legal, engineering) to align procurement with business needs Develop and trackKPIs and procurement metrics , reporting regularly to senior leadership Ensurecompliancewith internal controls, regulatory requirements, and ESG standards in procurement activities Leverage technology and digital tools toenhance procurement efficiency and transparency Monitormarket trends , emerging risks, and innovations in procurement and supply chain management Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree inSupply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering , or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred) 10–15+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge ofsourcing, category management, vendor management, and contract negotiation Experience in managingcomplex supplier networks , global procurement, and cost control strategies Excellentanalytical, commercial, and negotiation skills Strong leadership, team-building, andchange managementcapabilities Proficiency inERP systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle), e-sourcing tools, and data analytics platforms Industry-specific procurement experience from plastic companies is a plus Key Competencies: Strategic Thinking Financial Acumen Stakeholder Management Communication and Influence Risk Management Supplier Relationship Management Process Improvement and InnovationInterested candidates please share your updated resume on deepak.5@taggd.in
