Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Production Charge – Injection Moulding to oversee production activities during assigned shifts. The role involves managing manpower, monitoring injection moulding machine operations, ensuring adherence to production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in injection moulding operations, machine troubleshooting, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the entire production shift for injection moulding operations.

Ensure achievement of daily production targets with optimal machine utilization and minimum downtime.

Monitor and adjust moulding machine parameters to maintain product quality and minimize rejections.

Handle start-up, shut-down, and changeover of moulds and materials as per production schedule.

Identify and resolve production issues related to machines, moulds, or processes on time.

Maintain shift-wise production reports, downtime analysis, and rejection logs accurately.

Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and tool room departments for smooth operations.

Ensure proper housekeeping, safety compliance, and adherence to 5S standards on the shop floor.

Train and guide operators and technicians to maintain productivity and quality standards.

Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize wastage.

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Polymer / Plastic Engineering or relevant discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in injection moulding operations, preferably in an automotive or plastic manufacturing industry.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines (, Haitian, Ferromatik, Windsor, etc.).

Hands-on experience in mould setting, parameter setting, and basic troubleshooting.

Understanding of quality standards (ISO/TS, IATF) and production planning.

Leadership and team-handling skills with the ability to work in shift operations.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance and safety practices.

Computer proficiency in MS Office and production reporting software.
