Role Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in front-end JavaScript technologies at Wyzard, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing front-end solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to create seamless and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep expertise in JavaScript frameworks, a passion for front-end development, and a track record of delivering exceptional user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-End Development: Lead the development of front-end applications using cutting-edge JavaScript technologies and frameworks.
  • Architecture and Design: Architect and design scalable, modular, and maintainable front-end solutions that align with project goals and user needs.
  • User Interface (UI) Development: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that provide outstanding user experiences.
  • JavaScript Frameworks: Utilize JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to build dynamic and responsive web applications.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of front-end applications, providing consistent experiences across different devices and browsers.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end performance, including page loading times and rendering efficiency, through techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and UI/UX guidelines.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies, best practices, and design patterns, and apply them to projects as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) with a strong focus on front-end development.
  • Deep expertise in front-end JavaScript technologies and frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass or Less).
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • A portfolio or examples of previous front-end development work is a plus.
  • Passion for front-end development, user interface design, and creating exceptional user experiences.
