We are currently hiring a Business Head- Luggage industry for a reputable firm located in Mumbai-Thane area.


The role holder will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for luggage business which will drive sales, market share and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Identify new business opportunities, Innovation & Positioning Develop and implement a robust strategy for luggage business that aligns with overall objectives and market trends.
  2. Product Portfolio Management - Assortment Planning & Lifecycle Management. Curate a balanced and innovative product assortment (hard luggage & soft luggage) & design that meets ever evolving consumer demands and drives category growth.
  3. Channel Management - Product planning in channels Understand and plan the product placement and movement as per FMCD industry best practices.
  4. Market Intelligence - Competitive Analysis & Data Driven Insights. Monitor and analyze luggage market trends, competitor activities, and ever evolving consumer behavior to make informed strategic decisions.
  5. Inventory Management - Logistics, Procurement & Warehouse Management Accurately predict demand for various luggage products and accessories (Fashion Chain & Zips) based on historical data, market trends, and seasonal factors.
  6. Marketing - Brand Building & Campaigns Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that drives awareness, engagement, and sales.
  7. Financial Management - P&L and Budgeting Oversee the P&L, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.


Skills:

• In-depth understanding of materials, components, and technology used in luggage products.

• Knowledge of sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Awareness of industry regulations related to labeling requirements, durability & safety standards. • In-depth understanding of the luggage Industry market trends, competition, opportunities, challenges & potential to drive business expansion agenda.


Qualification:

  • 15 years of career experience and Leadership experience.
  • Hands on experience of managing a business.
