Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive with prior experience in handling tenders, bids, and RFPs, specifically in the Cybersecurity domain and the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. The role will involve coordinating the entire tendering process, from opportunity identification to bid submission, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender Management
  • Identify and track relevant tenders, RFPs, and EOIs on GEM, e-procurement platforms, and other government portals.
  • Manage end-to-end tender documentation, including technical, financial, and compliance sections.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, legal, finance) to prepare complete and compliant bid responses.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids on GEM and other portals.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain updated records of all tenders, pre-qualification requirements, vendor registrations, and submitted bids.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and review agreements, declarations, and other bid-related documents.
  • Business Support
  • Assist in preparing financial quotes, BOQs, and pricing models for cybersecurity products and services.
  • Support the sales team in responding to client queries during the tendering stage.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, partners, and vendors to obtain technical and commercial inputs.
  • Portal Management
  • Manage company profile, catalog, and product/service listings on the GEM portal.
  • Handle GEM order processing, bid participation, reverse auctions, and compliance updates.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of GEM Portal operations and government tender procedures.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity products, services, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online e-tendering systems.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Commerce, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in tendering, GEM portal, or bid management.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity or IT/ITES sector is mandatory.
  • Certifications in tendering, bid management, or cybersecurity (preferred but not mandatory).
